A collection of light sculptures that entice imagination and bring a new dimension to an otherwise flat wall. Turning them on is an experience in itself, with their light being a direct response to movement.

Inspired by the architects Luis Barragán and Tadao Ando, who masterfully used sunlight as a graphical and fundamental element in their work, Maya is a reinterpretation of their use of sunlight. It lets the light move and breathe, shaping it without making it constricted to a single spot.

The more the pieces are opened, the more light is allowed to enter the room.

Maya is “the power by which the universe becomes manifest; the illusion or appearance of the phenomenal world”.
